First of all, I have no idea why I am talking about one clip from the elder club concert. But I am, however I am not capping it, simply because it is a pain in the ass. I will however tell you the time of the scene that I am talking about. If that makes any sense.

[:18] Ayaya has dyed her hair black, and cut it shorter, and for some reason this bothers me—it’s a big distraction. Why, in a group of Japanese girls(excluding Ayaka of course) does the black haired one distract me? Anyway, this is pretty much a normal segment for Ayaya—a bit dramatic, a bit sexy and a bit cute. Entertaining to watch but still kind of normal for her. I think she has a problem a lot of artists have—balance. The balance between doing serious music, sexy music, or cute music. You can do a mix, but for some reason a lot of them find that hard. That’s why all we hear from her anymore is boring ass ballads. I mean when Otsuka Ai has a ballad I watch it, several times in fact because they’re always interesting and she doesn’t do a crapload of them. She has a good balance of work.

[:30] I just want to say that with Satoda Mai’s little wave thing she appears more real and genuine than a lot of celebrities do. It made me grin, which is something she never has trouble with. Mai is one of the H!P idols that if I ever met her on the street, she seems like she would be really comfortable to converse with. I’m glad she is active again.

[:39] Haha Yossi. Idols like Yossi make concerts worth watching, seeing them make goofy faces that is most likely unscripted or laughing with one of their fellow singers or just doing something out there makes it unique and entertaining, and in a way, personal.

[:56] Erina may be cute to look at, but from what little I’ve seen, she’s kinda boring. Whenever the camera went to her I just wanted it to go back to the Yaguch, Kei-chan, Yossi, Konkon, or just someone interesting.

[1:23] They are amazingly in synch compared to their dancing in Jaja Uma Paradise aren’t they? In fact it’s almost creepy. Wait I bet I can translate it now, “The music given to us sucks and it’s all about Rika so we have to resort to being skaaaaanks~WAO!” or something along those lines. Sorry, I like their earlier music, and I like Yui and Erika, but I’m kinda all Rika-ed out.

[1:40] I like the Melon’s expressions as they say their names and just the style, though it is really rushed. God they can never win can they? Anyway, their expressions were very ‘Hey Mirai!’ or ‘Mr.Moonlight’ –esque weren’t they? Watch Ohtani’s expression as Shibata says her part.

[1:56] I adore Kei’s segment! She just as this.. thing kinda like Mai that is very personable and always makes me smile. I love the fawning and blowing kisses thing, I wonder who were the girls who yelled xD.I love how she got all cutsey at the end and I think she said something about being a second gen Momusu member, and then the crowd yelled for her. And yay we got a wink!

[2:27] OH MY GOD I HAVE NO IDEA WHO SHE IS AND I DO NOT CARE! XD

[2:28] See this is much more interesting than whatshername, Yossi and Ayaka goofing off up in the rafters. They should SO be in a group together. I love Ayaka, she always seems really happy and interested in whatever she is doing no matter what. I want to see more Ayaka/ Yossi interaction, does anyone have any good clips of them? Look at Erina, looking really happy just to be waving her hand around and not caring about her senpais. C’mon, stick out. You can do it, you’ve got 20+ beautiful idols up on the stage with you, a large number of them are experienced and know what attracts the fans, you have a lot of competition. You’re going to have to compete with one of the biggest cam whores out there—Kusumi. WORK HARDER. After all that, I still don’t care about whatshername who was talking that whole time.

[2:41] OH MY GOD. WAS AYAKA JUST BEING SEXY? THAT WAS LIKE SEEING MY MOTHER STRIP!! MY EYEEES! Ayaka has always felt very motherly and saintly and sweet to me, I’ve never seen her try and be sexy but now that I think about it… Could she be? GAH. BAD IMAGINATION. My new mental scars aside, I love how she switches languages so flawlessly still, and really, she can sing amazingly well seeing as SHE HARDLY DOES SHIT. THANKS A LOT UFA. GO SUCK A NUT.

[2:56] Don’ get me wrong, I adore Nacchi, but I love watching Yaguchi perform. Which I miss doing. I want to see her sing and dance to goofy songs and be, well, the Marippe we all love and adore again. Is that really too much to ask. Or I want to see her marry Oguri Shun and be happy. THEY WOULD HAVE SUCH PRETTY, TALENTED BABIES~ I mean she isn’t doing anything anyway. She could play dress up with her kids and shop in the same section as them xD

{3:23] Yaguchi has lost none of her Yaguchi-ness, she is just as goofy, energetic, eye-catching and a excellent singer as always. She has not however, gained any height, but we love her for it. Also, watch Nakazawa’s expression behind her.

[3:45] I could spend all day talking about Yuko, and still have more to say. She is just all kinds of awesomeness, I mean isn’t she like one of the older H!P members, but you can’t tell. She is so career orientated, my militant, suffragest ‘I burned my bra so I could wear pants whenever I wanted to’ speech teacher would adore her ‘I don’t want to get married’ belief. Although if she married her lover from Utaban, neither me or his mom would protest much I’m sure xD. But, anyway. In her segment, we get to see several sides of her versatile personality; Yankii, sexy, beautiful(does that count?), coy, and in control. When she uses her army of H!P Kids to take over the world, I will not be surprised—in fact, I will sign up to be on her side <3.

[4:10] The only ones that really stick out in this are Mai and Yossi. I think Mai, Rika, Konkon, and Yossi should be called in a group together separate from Gatas since they are well—the presiding adults/senpai of the group? I dunno, but it feels like they aren’t getting as much credit as they deserve. Even Rika.

[4:32] –gigglesnort- admittedly, as much as I don’t like Rika, she is sometimes fun to watch like her head shaking thing here. She is a good idol, a excellent one in fact, just not my type.

So I've been testing my Jpop things on my friends and here are how mine are going:

Alek

He had a interest in Japan before I came along, but I got him into the poppy aspect of it. Just slow doses of videos, random clips, and concert perfs. Now everytime I go over there I catch him up on the latest happenings in the Jpop world. You should also know that Alek basically only listens to various forms of Rock, and like two rappers. His favorite artists are Perfum(he LOVES Electroworld, I got it for him for Xmas), W(His favorite is Ai no imi Oshiete yo, I also got that for him for Xmas) and Bennie K(You have no idea how much he loves 1001 Nights). He now knows the basics of many Momusu songs close to me, his coworkers at a Taco Bueno think he is insane because he likes to sing Summer Night Town at work xD

Chilley
I only tested a few vids on her last time she slept over, but she liked Indigo Blue Love(the engrish drove her insane though), Roman my DEAR BOY, and WoWa, she thought that Amuro Namie was hot and she could NEVER pull off the dances she does. She also mostly likes rock, but also likes some hip hop.

Marcus
My stepbrother, who is quite the shallow manslut(manslut sleeps, manwhore flirts) who is just into rock. He has never voiced any major distaste of my music that he hears often, but he has never shown any interest in it either. Today though I showed him my ONSA booklet and asked him who I thought was hottest xD just to see how they would be received in the USA in THAT field ~_^ He didn't think Takahashi was attractive at all, he whistled at Gaki and was like 'Holy shit!', Junjun was okay, Linlin looked like a guy, but Junjun was hotter than Gaki, and Tanaka Reina was 'Damn sexy' and Eri Kamei was hot but he thought Sayumi and Gaki were the hottest he would-- 'Pound them all day long' oh and Reina too. Oh and I showed him the How to use SEXY booklet, and he thought the grungy pics weren't cool, the last one where she is lying down he goes 'Yes pleaaase' xD he goes 'Can we go to Japan?' I might have to start hiding my PBs xD

Should I have felt guilty about hearing those things about the girls? I mean he wasn't THAT crude and he doesn't demean women normally, he was joking around. Although I don't doubt that given the chance he WOULD do them :D

ANYWAY.

I haven't bought a Momusu CD since ONSA. Not cool.

I just want to say that if I loved this PV anymore, I may very well explode. I'm hungry, I'm tired, and I have tons to do but I want to review this PV now. xD

Firstly, I apologize for the crappy screencaps. But I had to have some, and if anyone can upload good ones for graphics purposes, you'll have my eternal gratitude.



Secondly, let me say this review was not planned, I watched the video like five minutes ago and got home like half an hour ago. But it was so awesome I had to review it. I feel like I'm betraying C-ute whom I have been favoring recently.



Thirdly, let me tell you who completely and utterly ownzed this PV. In order; Chinami, Maasa, Yurina, and Momo. Miyabi and Risako were just kinda there. Risako was given a lot of props, but that still didn't make up for it. Momo has this.. This awesome goofiness like she and Chinami were just playing at a slumber party and someone filmed it without their awareness. Chinami was so adorkable, and adorable, I mean I've always liked Chinami, but this makes me want to go back and find old clips of her. Actually I had a bit of trouble telling Yurina and Maasa apart a few times, since they were moving so fast in the hallway shots. Yurina has never stuck out to me though, she has always been 'the other girl who is left after I learned all the other girl's personalities'. Don't mean to be mean, but, well, you know how it is.



*squeals* lets have another adorable screenie!



This PV reminds me of the Chokkan 2 close up PV because other than a few key gestures, the girls were basically told to stand in front of the camera and look goofy/cute/sexy. Which I really like, it shows how well the girls can improvise and work what they got. Know what I mean? I usually like Risako in PVs, but she was really boring this time, she just was kinda, blah.

Did I mention how Chinami ownnzed this PV yet? I'll try and get a good cap of her, but no promises. Oh now that I'm watching it for the third time, Saki was really cool too.



I hadn't listened to the radio rip before so this was a complete shock, but it was a good one. I love the energy, and for once the guy's voice in the background isn't creepy. It's really catchy and is a good mix of energy, and I am a sucker for this melody, well not really the melody, but the way they sing it in the beginning. I might make a voice recording to point it out later. But it's like this song has all the little things that get me in a song, like all of them~ this is the first time I've spazzed about a Berryz PV in a while, it's relief that they're back.



For some reason, I get the feeling that Risako and Miyabi are more serious than the other girls when they're singing, like they don't like this style. Maybe they know something the other girls don't.



OMG CHINAMI



Why didn't anyone tell me she is so awesome? Okay, so people did try and tell me, but this is the first time she has practically reached through the computer screen and was like 'LOOK AT MEH AWESOMENESSSS~!' and she did really weird gestures while doing it. Did you notice how innuendo like some of her dance moves were throughout this video?

She did one of those moves, and then did this:


Which was a pain in the ass to cap, but was so worth it.



And guess whose voice was lacking in it's usual high pitched squeaky-ness? Ding! 10 points to the little girl in the back, Momoko is right! I still stand by my theory that Momo can actually sing a lot better than we normally hear but she changes it because thats what they think the fans want to hear. Which may be true for some, but not me.



You should buy this single! I know I will~ and okay Saki was REALLY awesome in this, I think her and Chinami tied with top ownzing this time, but Momo and Maasa tie for third and Yurina for fourth, like I said, Risako and Miyabi are kinda just there. There singing is as good as usual, but that is about it. BTW I decided I want a hallway version of this PV, you know, where the whole thing is just them in the hallways dancing and just being dorks. That would be all kinds of awesome, like of those where you watch it 50 times because every time you catch something else you were distracted from seeing before.

...it's about time

Yeah when Miki left Morning Musume, I went 'It's about time!' and now, the inevitable(and I just KNOW I didn't spell that right damnit) has happened. I feel like Maki just left the little kid table at family gatherings, you know?I can't wait to see if she writes her own songs, I want to hear what she REALLY has to say!

I'm not going to say much on this, I'll try and get to the point.

Our beloved Maki Goto is moving from Up-Front to god only knows where, hopefully Avex or TNX(perferably TNX), somewhere where she can expand her horizons and be appreciated. For awhile now, I think Maki has reached the point where she's matured, grown up, and learned as much as she can at H!P, it's time for her to move on to bigger and better things. She's beautiful, talented, has a great personality, and a good reputation, she has all the makings of a REAL genuine pop idol, I have complete faith in her.

I am already planning on buying all of her singles and albums while she's with this new company ^^ maybe if we're really lucky, Up-Front will release a Gocchin album with all of her singles and a cool booklet too before she leaves~ hey I can hope right?

Oh, and my three guesses(it is just three right?) of the members who aren't going to be commenting on the booklet for the 10th anniversary all singles CD are-- Kago Ai, Fukuda Asuka, and Sayaka Ichii. BTW did anyone else notice that those, at least mine(so I'm sure everyone else's) were mailed out two days early? I officially love CDJapan <3 it should be here by Monday. So was kind enough to post this video , of Motto Miracle Night subbed(I love subbed vids), and I realized then that I had never seen a performance of that particular song with the original lineup that sang it.

When I saw Koharu and Sayumi's part I immediatly wondered if two friends had done it in the original or if it was a group thing. You know, wondering how symbolic it was, or could be.

I saw that the Two Top were the original speakers for the spoken part in the middle, and with some poeple wondering if Kira*Pika is going to be hyped up as the next buddy buddy W, is it too much for me to hope that actually, it'll be the Pinkus, and they'll start releasing real singles? Their act may revolve around cuteness(as W's did in the beginning though, right?), but at least it doesn't depend on a anime.

I still say Koharu and Sayumi taking Tsuji and Kago's place in Motto Miracle Night is a sign, even though they weren't in Pinku mode at the time.
